This is a key role supporting the effective delivery of Council Tax, Housing Benefits and Business Rates. You will play a vital part in ensuring services are delivered efficiently, accurately and in line with legislation, while maintaining a strong focus on customer service and continuous improvements.
What will you be doing:
- The administration of Housing Benefit, Council Tax and National Non Domestic Rates System administration
- Managing staff working in different disciplines, across different sites and from home
- Ensuring all performance targets are achieved
- To support the shared service managers in all aspects of the shared service functions and operation
- And all other relevant duties required for the operation of the shared service
What we are looking for:
- At least 5 years relevant management experience in Revenues and/or Benefits
- Strong knowledge of Council Tax, NNDR, and associated legislation
- Proven leadership and team management skills across diverse operations
- IRRV Technician qualified or equivalent experience is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
