Job Summary
East Dunbartonshire Leisure Football – Level 1.1 Children’s Coaching Award or 1.1 Youth / Adult Coaching Award
Gymnastics – UKCC Level 1
Multi Sports (we require coaches in Basketball, Netball, Tennis, Athletics, Badminton, Squash) UKCC Level 1 or equivalent
Our classes run across 6 days of the week Monday – Saturday from 9:00am – 7:00pm midweek and 8:30 – 1:30pm on Saturdays.
As part of the role coaches will be required to:
- Plan and prepare quality coaching sessions based on the age and stage of the group they are coaching.
- Work both independently and as part of a team.
- Be able to communicate effectively with parents / carers.
- Be able to communicate effectively with primary school staff.
- Attend regular staff training / in service days across the year.

Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate’s first salary payment. Successful candidates who withdraw their application after the check process has started will be invoiced for the cost of the check. In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by the HR.
