The predicted salary is between 23729 - 29002 £ per year.
Salary will be pro-rated for part-time and term-time hours. This position is temporary and funded externally, with 12 hours per week during term time.
This is a unique post as it’s funded through the DWP Access to Work scheme. You will be working giving direct Classroom Support to an individual teacher within the school's Health and Food Technology Department for the duration of this temporary post.
The duties associated with this role are:
- Following direction from HFT Teacher, prep food trays for current/following day
- Move equipment or food between stores and classroom for HFT Teacher
- Distribute information/food to pupils in class
- Collect printing and photocopying
- Assist with clear up of room following practical lesson
- Assist with inputting information into an ICT format
The working pattern would be Monday to Thursday from 9am until 12pm each day. Working during school term time, you will assist the teacher with non-teaching duties including administration and preparation of teaching materials.
You should have a good standard of education, being literate and numerate, with excellent interpersonal skills. You will ideally be creative, highly motivated, and able to work on your own initiative. We also require someone with highly attuned IT skills. You will need to demonstrate excellent literacy and communication skills to meet the requirements of this post.
