Job Summary Please note that salary will be pro-rated for less than 37 hours per week.
Mugdock Country Park team is seeking an Assistant Warden to join our dynamic and motivated team.
Responsibilities include daily opening and closing the Park, bin emptying and WC cleaning, as well as regular strimming/grass cutting, gardening in our walled garden and beds, and working collaboratively and proactively with the Ranger and Visitor Services Departments.
The role will also involve maintenance of trees, land, paths, car parks and cleaning of structures to create an attractive and safe environment.
Applicants should have experience in using grass cutting machinery, planned maintenance, and responsive repairs.
The post is permanent, 35 hours per week.
Shift pattern will comprise of a 4 week rolling shift, 5 days out of 7, with timing dependent on events, e. g., 8am-12pm or 12.30pm-9pm or, if required, outwith these times.
We will look to interview on Tuesday 1st September with the role starting ideally on 1 October.
