The Children and Families service has an exciting opportunity for social workers. The role will include undertaking individual assessments which identify the needs and risks of vulnerable children and co-ordinating care packages that respond to identified needs. You will undertake statutory duties and contribute to the overall achievement of the Children & Families service objectives.
Your responsibilities will include promoting social inclusion, working sensitively with diversity, and operating in an anti-discriminatory way. You will carry out these tasks within the framework of relevant legislation, Council Policy, and procedures.
You should be registered as a social worker with the Scottish Social Services Council and hold an appropriate qualification that is recognised by the SSSC.
Equalities monitoring will be conducted to ensure a fair and equitable process, with screening being carried out to anonymise sensitive information such as age, gender, and disability.
