The predicted salary is between 30000 - 40000 £ per year.

Please note these positions are temporary to cover maternity leave for six months or until the current post holder returns. We are looking for committed and enthusiastic social workers to work within our Children & Families Team. This team works with a range of case work including child protection, statutory assessments, Looked After Children, kinship, fostering and adoption, youth justice assessments and interventions, voluntary support and individual work with children and young people.

These posts require a sound knowledge of policy and legislation and an understanding of assessing needs and delivering effective interventions. The Social Workers will work in partnership with other agencies to meet the needs of children and their families.

We have 3 fixed term posts for up to a year to cover maternity leave.

  • Equalities monitoring will be conducted to ensure a fair and equitable process with screening being carried out to anonymise sensitive information such as age, gender and disability.
