The predicted salary is between 23729 - 29002 £ per year.

Please note that salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours. This is an excellent opportunity to enhance or develop the experience of being part of a small team within an extremely busy office environment. The post will report directly to the Instrumental Music Team Leader and will job share with the existing Admin Assistant.

In addition to undertaking the full range of admin/clerical duties as part of the Instrumental Music Service (on a part time basis), the successful candidate will be required to liaise with instrumental instructors, schools and the public. You will be well organised, efficient and enthusiastic with a professional work ethic and have the ability to produce high quality work. You will be motivated with the ability to work alone when required. You will be customer focused and have excellent interpersonal skills. The ability to deal with sensitive situations and understand the value of confidentiality are key elements of this post. It is essential that you have an adaptable and flexible approach to your work. You will be PC literate with good word processing skills and have a sound knowledge of existing administrative and financial procedures within a local authority environment.

Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate’s first salary.
