East Dunbartonshire Council has 2 vacancies for Roadworks Technical Coordinators. Postholders will be heavily involved in managing road works notifications to minimise disruption of the road network. This will involve working with the Scottish Road Works Register, utility companies and council services to plan road works to reduce conflicts and keep the travelling public updated. It will also involve processing permits and raising invoices.
You will be part of a dedicated small team who process and coordinate all road works applications received for the East Dunbartonshire Council area. The applicant should have good communication skills, be a team player and someone who is able to work with databases who is used to data entry. Full training will be given on all aspects of the post.
