These posts are only available to all permanent and temporary employees and agency workers currently on assignment within East Dunbartonshire Council. Salary will be pro-rated for part-time hours.

Position 1 - 3.5 hours per week on a Wednesday

An exciting opportunity is available for a 0.1 class teacher at Milngavie Primary School. We are looking for a teacher who prides themselves on their excellent inclusive practice; their ability to work collaboratively across the school; and who is able to offer every child enthusiasm, energy, commitment and an enabling experience in school. The candidate must be an experienced and highly effective class teacher with the ability to lead all aspects of curriculum delivery, manage effective assessment procedures and build strong relationships with parents. Music is one of the school's notable specialisms and a qualification in music is desirable as this role may involve music therapy.

Position 2 - 28 hours per week equivalent of 4 days – flexible over 5

We are looking for a teacher who prides themselves on their excellent inclusive practice; their ability to work collaboratively across the school; and who is able to offer every child enthusiasm, energy, commitment and an enabling experience in school. The candidate must be an experienced and highly effective class teacher with the ability to lead all aspects of curriculum delivery, manage effective assessment procedures and build strong relationships with parents. Extensive knowledge of Rights Respecting Schools including involvement in leading on aspects relating to accreditation.

To ensure your application is accepted it is essential that the Head Teacher report is signed by and emailed from the Head Teacher who has completed the report. It is also important to include the (EAD) reference number of the post on the report form.

Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate's first salary payment.
