The predicted salary is between 23615 - 25674 £ per year.
Salary will be pro-rated for part time hours. This is NOT a term-time post. The Early Years Housekeeper will have a crucial role in supporting the early years staff in the serving of lunches to children, whilst ensuring a high standard of hygiene and cleaning is maintained. House Keepers are based within the early years centre, working alongside the wider early years staff team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in promoting a positive, calm and social experience during our lunch service, where children will be encouraged to develop their social skills through adult/peer role modelling and interactions. The successful candidate will be a valued member of the Early Years staff and community.
Knowledge of child development, safe food prep and hygiene practices are advantageous. Candidates should be enthusiastic, articulate and a good team player, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills and understand the importance of confidentiality.
PVG/Disclosure Scotland: The following criteria applies to all roles within East Dunbartonshire Council where PVG/Disclosure checks are essential criteria. Please note, successful candidates will be expected to meet the cost of the relevant check which will be deducted from the successful candidate’s first salary payment. In specific circumstances the payment could be deducted in instalments from an employee’s wages following commencement of employment. Approval in such circumstances will be made by the HR.
