About the Role
We are now looking to appoint a Chief Finance and Resources Officer who will provide dynamic leadership to the HSCP’s finance portfolio and, as part of the HSCP senior team, deliver to a wide range of strategic objectives. The successful candidate will possess personal and professional credibility and an aptitude for strategic thinking alongside a proven operational knowledge and understanding of health and social care services. Reporting to and working closely with the HSCP’s Chief Officer, you will also provide high-level expertise to the Integration Joint Board for the financial administration and governance of an integrated budget of over £252M.
As a CCAB qualified senior finance professional, your experience will demonstrate a significant track record of financial management within a large, complex, service-led organisation. You will come with proven strategic leadership skills with the drive and resilience to inspire and motivate to achieve the best from integration. Established and proven negotiating skills and the ability to operate and influence in a politically sensitive environment are further requisites for the successful candidate.
