Job Summary
- Reporting to the Squad Leader Waste, the post holder is responsible for carrying out the delivery of refuse collection, recycling and waste disposal activities, ensuring a high standard of customer service is maintained.
- Support the Squad Leader in the safe, efficient and effective delivery of the waste collection, recycling and waste disposal services in line with Health & Safety Legislation and council policy and procedures.
- Contribute to ensuring the quality and standards of the team whilst ensuring an effective operation and completion of all daily tasks and activities as defined.
- Maintain Waste Services objectives by contributing to team working and flexibility, contributing to the overall success of the Council.
- Work towards the continuous improvement of service delivery of the Waste Services team.
