The predicted salary is between 25650 - 31350 Β£ per year.

The Projects Officer role will support the Senior Programme and Project Manager in providing a consistent and robust approach to project management across the Council, including supporting the planning, coordination, monitoring and reporting of corporate projects and helping to embed the Council's programme and project management framework.

Initially, the role will support the implementation of a new Project Management Office.

You will be a highly organised and proactive individual with strong administrative and coordination skills and an interest in developing your career in project management.

You will be confident working with colleagues across the Council to gather, check and collate information, maintain accurate project records and help produce clear monitoring reports.

You should be comfortable managing competing priorities, meeting deadlines and paying close attention to detail.

You will also be a clear communicator, able to build positive working relationships and encourage colleagues to follow consistent processes.

Experience of supporting projects or using project management tools would be helpful, but we also welcome applications from people with transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
