A Metal Fabricator is a skilled tradesperson responsible for transforming raw materials into finished components, structures, or machinery.
Core Responsibilities
- Blueprint interpretation of both CAD drawings and customer sketches
- Material preparation using hand held tools and heavy machinery
- Cutting and shaping using handheld tools and CNC equipment
- Assembly of various metals including steel, stainless and aluminum
- Ability to produce a quality finished product in a timely manner
- Certifications are an asset but the main priority would be the ability to produce quality work
- Valid driver’s license and ability to drive with a trailer
- Excellent communication skills a must
