East Coast College is seeking a proactive and community-focused Hub Coordinator to join our Projects team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting local people into education, employment and training while building strong relationships with employers, community organisations and other key stakeholders.
As the Hub Coordinator, you will take ownership of the day-to-day operation of the Hub, ensuring it remains a welcoming and professional environment for visitors, partners and stakeholders. You will coordinate events, manage bookings, maintain accurate records and support engagement activities that help increase opportunities for individuals across our local communities.
Key needs from you and the role:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently with students, employers, community groups and stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills, including managing bookings, events, meetings and accurate record keeping.
- Ability to work independently, prioritise workload and manage multiple activities simultaneously.
- Good IT skills, including spreadsheets, databases, presentations and reporting systems.
- Experience maintaining accurate data and producing reports to track opportunities, engagement and outcomes.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this. Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
