Salary: VH Lecturer - £32.62 per hour (including holiday pay and admin/non-contact time)

Are you an Engineering professional with a passion for delivery? Are you familiar with the ECITB Level 2 standards? Do you enjoy helping to develop technical skills and knowledge? Our East Coast Energy Training Academy (ECETA) are looking for an Engineering Lecturer to support delivery on a fixed term variable hours basis. Working in our state of the art and purpose built Energy Skills Centre in Lowestoft, your passion for the sector and up to date industry knowledge will ensure that our upcoming cohorts are successful in their course.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this. Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list.
