Location: Lowestoft College

Hours: 0.57-21 Hours per week.

Contract: Permanent - Part Time

Salary: Band E (£25,168.50 - £25,490.00 FTE)

Purpose of Role: To provide comprehensive administration to the Payroll and Pension Team, taking responsibility for defined processes and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of payroll and pension services.

Key needs from you and the role:

  • Experience processing payroll and pension activities, including enrolments, opt-ins, opt-outs, amendments, pensioner payments, and payroll data entry, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records, verify claims and payroll information, identify discrepancies, produce reports, and work to strict deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills to manage queries via email, telephone, and pension portals, liaise with staff, managers, pension providers, and collaborate effectively with Finance and People teams.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities, provide support during key payroll periods and audits, while promoting safeguarding, equality, diversity, inclusion, and adherence to College policies and procedures.
