The highly passionate and experienced Automotive team here at East Coast College are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Lecturer to join them and support learners across a range of automotive programmes, including apprenticeships. This is an exciting opportunity for an industry professional or experienced lecturer who is passionate about sharing their knowledge, shaping learners’ futures, and contributing to a high-quality teaching and learning experience.
You will deliver engaging, hands-on lessons across all levels, helping learners develop the technical skills, professional behaviours, and confidence needed to progress into the motor vehicle industry or further study.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.
Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
