Salary: Lecturer Scale £35112.48 - £41,600.00 per annum (Full Time Equivalent) - dependent on experience and qualifications

Are you passionate about sport and inspiring the next generation of learners? East Coast College is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Foundation to join our team and deliver engaging, high-quality sport sessions to our Foundation and Level 1 students. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference to learners at the start of their educational journey. You will plan and deliver innovative lessons, support students to develop their practical and theoretical sporting knowledge, and help them build the confidence, skills and behaviours needed for further study and future employment.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this. Candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act and you will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS check or Enhanced DBS check with barred list.
