Salary: VH Lecturers rate - £32.62 an hour

Deliver outstanding and engaging teaching, learning and assessment in Health and Social Care, supporting learners to develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours needed to achieve their qualifications, progress in their careers, and reach their full potential.

Key needs from you and the role:

• Deliver high-quality teaching, learning and assessment, developing engaging resources and embedding English and maths to support learner achievement and progression.
• Monitor and support student progress through tutorials, target setting, reviews, feedback, careers guidance and appropriate pastoral support.
• Manage course delivery and administration, including enrolment, assessment, attendance monitoring, quality assurance and curriculum development.
• Promote a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment, ensuring safeguarding responsibilities are met and working collaboratively with colleagues, employers and external partners to support student success.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.

Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
