Salary: Band J (£31,983.12- £35,006.40FTE)
Purpose of Role:
Lead and manage the admissions operations to ensure an excellent experience for prospective and current students. Ensuring an up-to date and professional service is delivered. Lead, motivate and develop staff, promoting a culture of accountability, collaboration and high performance. Build strong relationships with internal departments, external partners. Ensure compliance with relevant policies, procedures, data protection requirements and regulatory obligations.
Key needs from you and the role;
- Lead and manage the admissions function, ensuring accurate data reporting, effective enrolment processes, and consistent, high-quality service for all students.
- Monitor team performance against targets and service standards, using data and management information to drive continuous improvement and informed decision-making.
- Oversee the Admissions team, including recruitment, training, appraisals, performance management, staff development, wellbeing, and absence management.
- Develop and maintain efficient admissions, recruitment and enrolment processes that support student recruitment, retention, achievement and a positive learner journey.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, promote equality and inclusion, ensure safeguarding responsibilities are met, and support the College's wider strategic objectives.
