Our fantastically dedicated Construction team here at East Coast College are looking for a Lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery to join them and help continue to drive quality of delivery and student achievement. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced tradesperson looking to pass on their knowledge, or a qualified lecturer seeking a rewarding role in Further Education.
Your knowledge and experience will develop the practical skills and theory knowledge of our students looking to "turn out" a career in Carpentry and Joinery.

East Coast College require all staff to hold a minimum Level 2 or equivalent in English and maths, and be able to evidence this.
Please note, candidates who secure a teaching position, but do not currently hold a teacher qualification are required to obtain this within their first three years of employment. This can be provided by the college, however, the employee will be required to sign a commitment form, where they will be eligible to pay fees back should they fail to complete the qualification, or exit the organisation within the committed timeframe. Employees can secure their own funding such as Student Finance for the qualifications should they wish.
