We are looking for confident, organised, and professional Day Event Managers to oversee the smooth delivery of weddings, private celebrations, corporate functions, and special events across Edinburgh and the Lothians. As a Day Event Manager, you will be the lead point of contact on the event day, ensuring everything runs seamlessly from setup to breakdown. You will coordinate suppliers, manage event staff, oversee timelines, and resolve any issues quickly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities- Take overall responsibility for the smooth running of events on the day.
- Manage and supervise event staff, ensuring high standards of service.
- Coordinate event schedules and keep all activities running to plan.
- Liaise with clients, venues, suppliers, entertainers, and catering teams.
- Conduct pre-event briefings with staff and suppliers.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the event.
- Monitor health and safety procedures and venue compliance.
- Ensure all event areas are presented to the highest standard.
- Oversee setup, event delivery, and breakdown operations.
- Experienced in event, wedding, hospitality, or venue management.
