To provide an efficient refuse collection service within East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Cleaner Communities Service Plan and the Community Plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references during your application process, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer.
  • The reference from your current or most recent employer must be from an appropriate senior manager.

The Individual:

  • These posts are full time temporary positions based at Ayr Road Depot Cumnock or Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock.
  • You will be required to travel within East Ayrshire.
  • Please confirm your preferred location on the application form; this will be discussed further at the interview stage.
  • The hours of work are 37 per week: Monday - Thursday 6.30am - 2.30pm and Friday 6.30am - 2.00pm.
  • The full time salary is £28,533 - £29,880 per annum.
  • You must have a Clean Class C driving licence to apply for this post.
  • 7 posts are temporary until 31st March 2027 and 1 post is temporary until 30th September 2026.
