The predicted salary is between 20800 - 26328 ÂŁ per year.

To provide business support to services within the Council function to an agreed learning contract in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the Council’s key objectives; specifically in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

We follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”. With regards to requests for references and in line with this guidance, during your application process you should provide details of one appropriate and relevant reference.

To apply for these posts you must be a resident of East Ayrshire and aged between 16-24 years or up to age 29 years if you are care experienced or have a disability. The rate of pay for these posts is ÂŁ10.00 per hour for 16-20 year olds, ÂŁ12.21 for 21-24 year olds and ÂŁ12.60 for 25+ year olds. Rates to increase from 01.04.2026.

There are 2 posts available which are both temporary for 2 years and based at Western Road Depot in Kilmarnock.
