Job Description

The post plays a pivotal role in supporting the processing of all Human Resource activity for East Ayrshire Council employees employed by the Health and Social Care Partnership. The duties include processing of 4-weekly overtime claims in respect of operational staff and approximately 700 Community Care Officers; calculation of enhancement payments; preparation of budget management reports for Care at Home Area Leads; liaising with operational managers relating to absence management reports (Reviews and Follow-Up Reviews due and overdue); provide advice and guidance on annual leave allocation and updating of staff rotas on management information systems – CHRIS and CM2000.

Requirements

The duties of this post requires the successful applicant to complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

This is a full time temporary post based within Business Support.

The post is temporary until 31/03/2026

Hours of work – Mon-Thu 9am-5pm, Fri 9am-4pm.

The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ – 50% -79% of your time in an office location/ multiple work locations.

You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week and only occasionally from home.

The admin base for this post is The Johnnie Walker Bond, Kilmarnock.
