Job Description
Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum. This role aims to promote, deliver, and integrate key objectives in alignment with the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
The duties of this position involve regulated work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal employment offer can be made by East Ayrshire Council. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.
Responsibilities

The reference from your current or most recent employer must be from an appropriate senior manager and not from a peer at the same level.
The Individual
This is a temporary full-time position based at Stewarton Academy, Stewarton, until 31 March 2026. The role involves 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, as directed by the line manager.
