Job Description
Challenge, support, and inspire all learners to achieve the best possible outcomes through the development and delivery of an innovative and creative curriculum. This role aims to promote, deliver, and integrate the key objectives outlined in the Education Plan and the Community Plan.
Requirements
The duties of this position involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member or to have an existing PVG Scheme Record Update before any formal employment offer can be made by East Ayrshire Council.
PVG records are regularly updated. Any relevant information disclosed on a PVG Scheme Record or Record Update will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment confirmation.

The Individual
This is a temporary full-time position based at Stewarton Academy, Stewarton, until 31 March 2026.
The role involves 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with hours directed by the Line Manager.
The annual salary ranges from £40,305 to £50,589.
