Support the Head of Ayrshire Roads Alliance by ensuring the effective management, development and strategic direction of the Ayrshire Roads Alliance. Providing strategic leadership and cultural change and ensuring the delivery of Roads services that achieve best value and are efficient, sustainable, safe and customer focussed in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Ayrshire Roads Alliance Service Plan and Community Plan.
Responsibilities
This is a full time permanent post and the admin base is Opera House, Kilmarnock. The post hours is 35hrs per week working 9am to 5pm Monday to Thursday (with 50 mins lunch break) and 9am to 4pm on a Friday (with 40 mins lunch break). The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50-79% of time is office based. Able to work at different/multiple work locations. Occasionally works at home, or another location 1-2 days per week, or directly home to external appointments. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
The salary for the post is £75,785 - £82,828 per annum.
If your application is successful at the longleet stage, you will be required to attend a Virtual Assessment Centre on 16th July 2026. Candidates who are successful in the assessment process will be invited to a final interview on 14th August 2026. Please note that we are unable to change these dates.
