Job Description
Deliver and supervise effective administrative support to all employees within the school/ECC, and assist in providing an efficient front-line service to service users. This role aims to promote, deliver, and integrate the Council’s key objectives, particularly in relation to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.
Requirements
The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a PVG Scheme member or have an existing membership, with a PVG Scheme Record Update, before a formal employment offer is made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant disclosures will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual
This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position at Cairns Early Childhood Centre, until 19 December 2025. The hours are 25 per week, Monday to Friday, 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The full-time salary range is £25,953 - £27,173 annually, with a pro-rated salary of approximately £15,899 - £16,647 for part-time, term-time work.
