Job Description: Carry out a wide range of road maintenance duties and related driving activities, including winter gritting and emergency work, supporting the wider programmes and operations of Ayrshire Roads Alliance. This role contributes to achieving the key objectives of the Joint Committee, aligning with Council's Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements, and Best Value.

Responsibilities: We adhere to the national guidance "Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment" during the pre-employment process. Applicants should provide details of at least two relevant references, one from their current or most recent employer, with the reference from a senior manager.

Additional Information: This is a permanent, full-time position working 37 hours weekly. The role is based at Gauchalland Roads Depot, Galston, but requires travel throughout East & South Ayrshire. Working hours are Monday - Thursday, 8am - 4pm, and Friday, 8am - 3.30pm.
