To provide an efficient refuse collection service within East Ayrshire in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within the Cleaner Communities Service Plan and the Community Plan.
Responsibilities:
- Follow the national guidance in relation to pre-employment checks namely “Safer Recruitment Through Better Recruitment”.
- Provide details of a minimum of two appropriate and relevant references during your application process, one of which should be from your current or most recent employer.
- The reference from your current or most recent employer must be from an appropriate senior manager.
The Individual:
- These are temporary full-time posts based at Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock or Ayr Road Depot, Cumnock.
- You will be required to travel within East Ayrshire.
- The hours of work are 37 per week: Monday - Thursday 6.30am - 2.30pm and Friday 6.30am - 2.00pm.
- The salary for this post is ÂŁ26,744 - ÂŁ27,879 per annum.
- Various temporary contracts are available until 31st October 2026 and some posts are until 31st March 2027.
