The Individual
To apply for this post you must be a resident of East Ayrshire and aged between 16-24 or up to age 29 if you have a disability or are care experienced.The rate of pay for this post is £10 per hour for 16-20 year olds, £12.21 per hour for 21-24 year olds and £12.60 for 25+ year olds.East Ayrshire Council is committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce and welcomes applications from all members of the community. Course costs/travel expenses will be met by the Council.Work ExperienceYear 1-2 – Generic introduction to ICT & digital, including the ICT Service Desk, across both Infrastructure & Digital and Applications & BusinessYear 3-4 – Depending on progress in years 1 and 2, the postholder will \’specialise\’ in one or two areas of Infrastructure & DigitalSalaryYear 1 – salary will be as per the Council’s modern apprentice programmeYear 2-4 – Scottish National Living wage (dependant on attendance at FE College)
