Effectively deliver a range of functions within the Internal Audit Section of East Ayrshire Council by supporting the provision and continuing development of a quality Internal Audit Service to all clients in order to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of the key objectives in relation to those identified within Internal Audit Plans and the Community Plan.
The duties of this post require access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. This is a temporary full-time post based within Council Headquarters, London Road, Kilmarnock. The post is temporary until 31 March 2027.
The hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm and Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm. The workstyle for this post is Mobile - 20-49% of your time in an office or other work location. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 1 to 2.5 days per week and the remainder of the week at home or other work locations as required.
It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
The full-time salary of the post is between £51,506 - £56,329 per annum.
