Support the Team Leader in the effective day-to-day management and delivery of a comprehensive technical service to roads operations across the Alliance, ensuring the provision and implementation of relevant statutory regulations and legislation related to the work in order to achieve the Joint Committee’s key objectives; specifically in relation to both Council’s Community Plans, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreements and Best Value.

The Individual

This is a temporary full time position and the admin base is the Opera House, John Finnie Street, Kilmarnock. The post is temporary until 31 July 2029.

The hours of work are 35 hours per week to be worked Monday - Thursday 9.00am - 5.00pm, Friday 9.00am - 4.00pm.

The full time salary of the post is between £43,589 - £47,484 per annum.

The workstyle of this post is: Flexible - 50-79% of time is office based. Able to work at different/ multiple work locations. Occasionally works at home, or another location 1-2 days per week, or directly home to external appointments. It is the expectation that all office-based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
