Job Description
Contribute as part of a multi-skilled team to deliver an efficient and effective Environmental Service within our communities in order to assist with the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council\'s key objectives in relation to those identified within the East Ayrshire Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement and Best Value.

The Individual
This is a full time temporary position until 1st July 2027 and the admin base is Western Road Depot, Kilmarnock. The hours of work are 35 per week and the work pattern is:
- Monday – Thursday 9am‑5pm
- Friday 9am‑4pm
The full time salary is £34,453 – £37,365 per annum.
The workstyle for this post is Flexible – 50‑79% of time is office based. Able to work at different/multiple work locations. Occasionally works at home, or another location 1‑2 days per week, or directly home to external appointments. It is the expectation that all office‑based employees (with the exception of those working in schools) will work to the higher end of their allocated workstyle in terms of time spent in the office or at other work locations.
