This is a temporary part-time term-time post based within Bellsbank Primary School, with the post temporary until 26 June 2025. The hours are 27.5 per week, Monday to Friday, as directed by the line manager. The full-time salary range is £25,298–£26,372 per annum; the actual part-time term-time salary is £17,048–£17,772 per annum.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support to learners and teachers by undertaking non-teaching duties, including classroom administration and practical tasks.
- Contribute to the preparation of teaching materials to assist with the promotion, delivery and integration of objectives in the Education Service Plan and Community Plan.
Requirements:
The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member in respect of Regulated Work with either or both groups, or to have an existing PVG Scheme for update, before a formal offer of employment can be made by East Ayrshire Council. Note: PVG records are updated with new vetting information. If relevant to the post, information disclosed on a PVG Scheme Record or Scheme Record Update will be discussed with the applicant prior to a formal offer.
