We have several permanent full-time (35 hours) positions available for Qualified Social Workers in East Ayrshire Health and Social Care Partnership to join our dynamic and experienced children and families teams. In these rewarding and challenging key roles, you will be provided with regular, high-quality support and supervision and developmental opportunities which are supported through our FACE approach. If you are a newly qualified social worker, we have a specific NQSW programme that will support you through your first 12 months of qualifying.
- Operate as part of our children and families social work service in a way that values our children and families.
- Provide a range of social work services in line with the relevant legislation.
- Use professional judgement and initiative when working with children and families, utilising the support and guidance of your team and manager.
- Share and analyse information in accordance with data protection and childcare legislation.
It is essential that you hold a DipSw or equivalent social work qualification and are registered with the SSSC. The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. There are 2 full-time permanent posts, based within Children & Families.
The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50% - 79% of your time in an office location/multiple work locations. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week and only occasionally from home.
