Responsibilities
- Assist and support vulnerable people with personal and social care, encouraging independence and enabling them to remain in their own homes within the community.
- Promote, deliver and integrate key objectives related to the Health & Social Care Partnership Plan and the Community Plan.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Regulated work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007.
- Candidate must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member (or maintain membership) before formal offer of employment.
- PVG records will be updated as new information arises; relevant updates will be discussed prior to offer.

Additional Information
- This is a permanent part‑time post based within Adult Support Services at the North West Area Centre, Kilmarnock.
- Work Pattern: Day shift pattern – Week 1: Friday, Saturday, Sunday; Week 2: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday.
- Annual Salary: £25,448 – £26,650 inclusive of a 10% shift allowance.
