Job Description

Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council\’s key objectives, including the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.

Requirements

The duties involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will need to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups or be subject to a PVG Scheme Record Update before a formal offer can be made. PVG records are constantly updated, and any relevant information will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

The Individual

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Crosshouse Campus within the Early Childhood Centre. The post is for 10 hours per week, working Monday to Friday from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm. It is temporary until 26th June 2026.
