Assist with the delivery of a clean and safe user environment within various premises across East Ayrshire to support the promotion, delivery, and integration of the Council's key objectives, specifically relating to the Community Plan, Shared Commitments, Single Outcome Agreement, and Best Value.

The duties of the post involve Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults, as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. Successful applicants will be required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member for Regulated Work with these groups, or if already a member, to undergo a PVG Scheme Record Update, before any formal employment offer is made. PVG records are regularly updated, and any relevant information disclosed will be discussed with the applicant prior to employment.

This is a temporary, part-time, term-time position based at Dalrymple Primary School. The working hours are:

  • Monday to Thursday: 3.00pm - 6.00pm
  • Friday: 3.30pm - 6.00pm

The pay rate is £12.96 per hour. The posts are temporary until 30th April 2026 and are scheduled during term time.
