The post plays a key role in supporting operational and clinical staff within operational and clinical teams. This includes processing all referrals for services via telephone, universal mailboxes or callers to reception and ensuring these are recorded on the relevant information system and assigned to the appropriate team. The post holder will provide a customer care role, including sign-posting where required both in terms of telephony and face to face enquiries relating to contacts with their service.
Requirements
The duties of this post requires access to the public sector network and therefore the successful applicant must complete a basic Disclosure Scotland application. A formal offer of employment with East Ayrshire Council will only be made once satisfactory clearance has been received. Any information that is disclosed on a basic disclosure will require to be discussed before a formal offer of employment is made.

Additional Information
This is a part time, permanent post based within the Business Support team. Hours of work - week 1 Wed / Thu / Fri and week 2 Thu / Fri. Annual Salary - £13,495 - £14,132. The workstyle for this post is ‘Flexible’ - 50% -79% of your time in an office location/ multiple work locations. You will work at your administrative base or another agreed office location between 2.5 to 4 days per week and only occasionally from home. The admin base for this post is Rothesay House, Cumnock.
