East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) ensures the best possible quality of life and makes every moment count for children and families across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk. Our family‑centred approach includes specialist nursing care, symptom management nursing, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, care at end of life, bereavement support, counselling and volunteer services in the family home; all meeting the individual needs of the child, young person and whole family. In 2020, all three of our hospices – The Nook (Norfolk), The Treehouse (Ipswich) and Milton (Cambridge) – were rated OUTSTANDING by the Care Quality Commission.
Position: Fundraiser – Individual Giving and Legacies, Milton Hospice, Cambridge CB24 6AB (Internal title: Individual Giving and Legacy Officer)
Full or part‑time, minimum 30 hours per week over 4 days, permanent contract. Salary £25,000‑£26,000 per annum dependent on experience (pro‑rated for part‑time applicants).

Qualifications:
- Experience managing supporter or customer communications
- Experience working with databases, including data entry, analysis and reporting
- Highly effective written and verbal communicator
Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service for individual giving and legacy supporters, including handling telephone enquiries, responding to e‑mail, updating the database and ensuring all queries are answered promptly and professionally.
- Drafting supporter communications in an appreciative and thoughtful manner.
- Supporting the Individual Giving Manager in developing and delivering fundraising appeals.
About the role: East Anglia Children’s Hospices (EACH) is looking for a compassionate and analytical Individual Giving and Legacy Officer to join our Fundraising Directorate. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy and rewarding fundraising team. You will deliver exceptional supporter experience, analyse fundraising data, and while making a meaningful impact in the lives of children, young people, and families across East Anglia.
