Internally titled Retail Relief & Support Manager - covering Cambridgeshire.

Working Pattern: Variable shifts: 5 days over a 7 day week including weekends.

Salary: £26,340 + Mileage Reimbursement

Essential criteria for this role: Full UK Driving License and own transport.

Are you:

  • Able to adapt to last minute changes and flexible to work in different locations.
  • Able to work on your own initiative and problem solve.

Do you have:

  • Previous retail experience - charity shop experience is preferred but not essential.
  • Hands-on approach and the ability to motivate a team of volunteers.
  • Experience of maximising sales & generating income.

Responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordinate volunteer effort to ensure that the shops maximise their turnover whilst minimising costs.
  • Ensure that volunteers are well informed and motivated so that they can develop to their individual potential.
  • Maintain a high standard of display, presentation and cleanliness throughout the shops.
  • Manage and undertake the sorting, moving and storage of a high volume of donated goods.
  • Ensure that all monies are banked, and financial returns completed on a weekly basis.
  • Responsibility for all aspects of security – stock, premises, money (retail income and cash donations) and volunteers / staff.
