East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH) provides specialist nursing care, symptom management, short breaks, wellbeing activities, therapies, end-of-life care, bereavement support, counselling and volunteer services across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk.
Position: Housekeeper – Milton Hospice
Full‑time: 37.5 hours per week, permanent contract.
Salary: £25,000 a year plus approximately £2,000 per annum in weekend enhancements based on working two or four weekends per month (enhanced weekend and evening rates: +30% Saturdays & evenings, +60% Sundays & Bank Holidays).

Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the hospice.
- Support laundry services, including washing, drying and ironing.
- Ensure safe use and storage of cleaning materials in line with C.O.S.H.H. regulations.
- Work collaboratively with the Senior Housekeeper and wider care team.
- Support a welcoming environment for families.
- Adapt to changing priorities.
- Provide a caring, respectful approach in a sensitive environment.
- Meet the physical demands of the role.

- Experience in housekeeping or cleaning.
- High standard of cleanliness and attention to detail.
