Over the past 6 years we have dedicated our time and effort into specializing in loft access and storage solutions. Loft Ease was created to build a bigger brand within the industry as our hard work has not only been recognised by our customers with many 5-star reviews but also by awarding bodies being awarded Loft Contractor of The Year 2024 – 2025 for Central England by the Prestige Awards.
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled carpenter or an individual with carpentry experience. The ideal candidate will have their own tools and a valid UK driving license. This is an exciting opportunity to join our supportive installation team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out installs of a wide range of loft ladders, boarding systems and insulation along with other carpentry tasks i.e. joist work, architrave and frameworks.
- Read and interpret drawings to execute projects accurately.
- Travel to various job sites across East Anglia.
- Ensure all work is carried out to a safe and high standard.
- Communicate effectively with team members and clients.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in carpentry especially 1st fix joist work.
- Own tools required for carpentry work.
- Valid UK driving license (essential).
- Strong understanding of carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Friendly, reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Up to date DBS check and public liability insurance must be provided before commencing work.
