We are East Anglian Air Ambulance, a charity providing lifesaving critical care every day of the year across Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Norfolk and Suffolk. Whether by air or road, we bring hospital-level care to the most seriously ill and injured. Our doctors and paramedics give patients the best chance of survival and recovery. We also offer vital aftercare, train people in lifesaving skills, and carry out clinical research to keep improving care. We’re fuelled entirely by donations, without any regular government funding, so our corporate supporters and their fundraising is hugely important to us.
We are bringing relationship fundraising (major giving) and partnerships into one team, and you will play a significant role in growing corporate supporters and income for the charity. You will shape the corporate partnerships strategy and lead a great partnerships team who are securing new and stewarding existing corporate supporters and commercial partnerships across East Anglia.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing a partnerships strategy, managing a team and delivering a budget.
- Creating innovative and bespoke supporter journeys, products and propositions to engage with new and existing corporate partners.
- Working closely with relationship fundraising colleagues to identify and steward c-suite and senior decision makers in organisations.
- Finding new opportunities to grow additional income and support including event sponsorship, corporate team event registrations, corporate volunteering opportunities, in kind and pro-bono support and community initiatives.
- Being our relationship lead with Air Ambulances UK’s (AAUK) national corporate partnerships team.
- Attending and participating in AAUK meetings, identifying and assisting in securing national partnership opportunities and account managing at a regional level any national partnerships secured.
You’ll bring:
- Recent experience of working as a manager within a charity, a new business or account management team or organisation.
- Great skills in securing new business, building and stewarding relationships with companies and senior decision makers in organisations.
- A good working knowledge of commercial partnership and sponsorship agreements will be a bonus.
- A strong proficiency in LinkedIn and a passion for inspiring companies to support charities.
