The Trustee Role
We are seeking experienced, committed trustees who will help EAYR grow its impact and reach. Trustees provide governance, strategic direction, and support to the charity, ensuring we operate effectively, sustainably, and in alignment with our charitable objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic & Governance
- Provide strategic direction and help set the charity’s priorities and long-term vision
- Ensure the charity complies with charity law, data protection, and safeguarding regulations
- Monitor and evaluate the charity’s performance against objectives
- Review financial health and ensure sound financial management
- Attend trustee board meetings (typically 4–6 per year)
- Support & Advocacy
- Champion EAYR within your networks and help raise its profile

- Support fundraising efforts and identify potential funding opportunities and partners
