About the role

We are recruiting for a Nurse Team Leader who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.

Unit and Scheduling

Our day unit, equipped with 20 treatment chairs, operates from 08:00 to 20:00, Monday to Friday, providing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted therapies to adult patients.

Compensation

In addition, you will receive a High Cost Area Supplement of 15% of your basic salary, subject to a minimum payment of £4,552 and a maximum payment of £5,735 per annum pro rata.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a high standard of specialist nursing care to all patients within MVCC.
  • Coordinate the overall management of the Unit.
  • Facilitate the education and support of qualified and unqualified staff and participate in the development of nursing practice in the clinical area.
  • Work independently/autonomously without direct supervision, accountable for own professional actions.
  • Take an active role in deputising and supporting the Unit Sister.
