This is a substantive appointment, based predominantly at the Mount Vernon Cancer Centre in Northwood, Middlesex with commitments at Wycombe Hospital, Bucks. The post comprises 10 programmed activities (PAs) and an on-call commitment. This post is available immediately to provide site specific services to the local population and surrounding areas. Out-patient duties and SACT services for the breast cancer element of the service will be at High Wycombe Hospital. The thyroid service both malignant and benign, is delivered in its entirety at Mount Vernon in addition to the radiotherapy service for both tumour sites. The post holder will specialise in the management of breast and thyroid malignancies, joining dynamic teams of surgeons and oncologists with a significant national research reputation.

- Maintenance of high-quality patient centred care

- Entry on GMC Specialist Register or, be within 6 months of receipt of Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT) at time of interview or, provide GMC confirmed eligibility for entry on the Specialist Register.
